More than 20 years ago, Gary Gauldin became the first full-time Disc Jockey in the Richmond area, turning what was once a side job into a profession. With over 5,000 performances from New York to Florida, he has played every venu from midtown clubs to upscale private parties.

In 1984, Gary created DJ Hotline, a booking service for DJs in the area. Many of the top names in Richmond signed on with DJ Hotline as the company built a reputation for providing only the best quality entertainment. Today, Gary's experience with light, sound, and other production services has lead him to a more fulfilling career. DJ Hotline has been phased out so that Gary can devote more time to serving his own customers. He now owns a successfull full service Sound, Lighting, and Video production company, but still remains one of the most requested DJs in Virginia.

Gary performs at least two nights a week, a far cry from the four to five nights he used to do, slowing down to spend more time as a husband and a father. Still, he's never lost the passion for playing music, mixing just the right song and just the right time to keep the party jumping. His secret to success has been his love and deep knowledge of all eras of music. This, coupled with a "boys and their toys" need to have the best in sound and lighting, has driven him to be one of the best entertainers in Richmond, for any event.
